A little bit about me.
Hi, I’m Kevin Jiang. I am a Machine Learning Engineer specializing in LLM and large-scale recommendation systems. I work at the intersection of machine learning, distributed systems, and product impact, building models and applications that power real-world user experiences at scale.
My experience spans ads ranking, recommendation systems, and large-model training & evaluation, where I focus on turning cutting-edge research into reliable production systems. I’m particularly interested in:
- Generative AI and LLM training / evaluation / application
- Large-scale ML systems and ranking architectures
- Applied machine learning that directly improves products
- Engineering systems that bridge research and production
Previously, I’ve worked at Meta on different teams, including GenAI, Ads, Feed, and integrity teams, contributing to systems that serve millions of users and billions of predictions daily.
In addition, I am a seasoned interviewer with experience conducting 200+ official and mock interviews across ML system design, infrastructure and product design, behavioral, and technical coding interviews.
Outside of work, I enjoy exploring ideas about AI’s long-term impact, career development in tech, and building systems that scale both technically and organizationally.
